Connect your family with PINGS

A friend of ours told us about a game their family of 5 play around the dinner table. He called it “PIN.” They take turns sharing something Positive, Interesting, and Negative about their day.

My husband and I loved this idea so we made it our own and expanded it a bit. We play this game almost every day. It helps us to connect and share things about our day. It’s a great conversation starter. Sometimes we’ll just quickly share or sometimes it will grow into lengthy conversations, but I always feel more connected to my family after playing this little game.

We call our adaptation “PINGS”

Positive
Interesting
Negative
Grateful
Spiritual

Each family member takes turns sharing something about their day that was positive. Then something interesting. Something negative. Then something they are grateful for. And finally, we like to share something spiritual (this could be anything, for example, something we read in the Bible that day or something that we’re praying for.)

This game is easy as there are no rules and you can chat about anything and everything. It’s a fun way to bring your family together.

Hope you enjoy! Make it your own! Let me know how it goes and if your family changes up the acronym!
