The days I miss my Mom

It’s days like these that I miss you most.

The days I need your help with babysitting.

The days that I need some motherly advice.

The days when I struggle to keep the house clean.

The days I could use some empathy from a mom who knows.

The days I have nothing planned but the kids are going stir crazy at home.

The days I plan for the future.

The days when I didn’t get much sleep the night before.

The days when the baby’s teething.

The days I take the kids shopping.

The days where I lose my temper.

The days where we have an enjoyable day by the lake.

The days when it’s hard to get out of bed.

The days that I have a big decision to make.

The days when I forget my purpose in life.

The days when my kids reach their next milestone.

Holidays

Sad days.

Happy days.

Frustrating days.

Rainy days.

Saturday’s.

Tuesday’s.

Mom, I miss you. All. The. Days.

  1. The intensity you feel on “those days”, is exactly how much she loved you.
She loved shopping trips with you, baking and cooking with you, having your family in her house with all the commotion it brought…she loved it all. God bless you.
